The greenhouse is in the form of a tunnel and is constructed from a lightweight tubular frame covered with transparent plastic sheet (10). The frame is built from separate elements and has openwork hexagonal cells (1) or modules. The sheet is attached by means of clips. These elements comprise a three way adaptor onto which is fitted lengths of straight tube (4,8). The ends (15) of the frame are anchored in the ground and the whole assembly can be dismantled and re-erected as required. Frame parts can be made of plastic or metal and, for large spans reinforcing trusses can be provided across the inside. |
