<p>Roof truss of metal sections incorporates transverse trusses (1, 2) of 'Z' section supporting longitudinal tile battens (4) of similar section; pref. these latter have apertures (6) to provide roof ventilation. A post (3) supports a truss including a horizontal ceiling joist (2) and inclined rafter (1). Roofing felt (7) is laid directly on rafters followed by roof battens (4) and then tiles (5). A 'U' sectioned gutter member is also shown. The roof is watertight but simple to construct. The tiles are designed to pour rain water from one to the other without letting any of it leak through to the inside.</p> |
