<p>The machine is used to transfer trays, possibly with empty plates and remains of food, from a trolley with trays stacked vertically to a conveyor taking them to be washed. The trays (3) are lifted from the trolley by conveyor belts (9) which move horizontally in and out of the trolley and can be moved vertically on lateral columns. Movable horizontal supports (5) mounted on other side columns (4) lift the trays to the level of the removal conveyor (6), where they are lifted from the supports by a moving carrier (8) which passes beneath the conveyor surface. A roller (7) assists the movement of the trays. The machine can be extended to have two systems of belts and supports working side by side.</p> |
