The plat eused for making floors with space for installation features has a metal envelope with a filling core. the plates rest on supports on the load bearing floor and the space between the two floors carried electrical supply cables, water or gas pipes or telecommunication cables or air supply and removal ducts. this floor is earthed for electrical purposes and the plates are readily removed and reinstalled for access to the service installations in the gap. The metal envelopes (18) forms a tray for the core (17). This tray is covered by another similar tray(19). the lower tray (20) and the upper tray (19) are welded or brazed together on the composite plate edges. the core (17) can be a chipboard, plywood or a wood fibre plate. |
