1428181 Bird food UNISABI SA 15 May 1973 [1 June 1972] 23115/73 Heading A2B A food for grainivorous birds comprises at least one substance supplying vitamins, preferably dried yeast, or vitamin mixtures or liver or herbage, at least one substance supplying amino-acids, preferably whole egg powder, although other sources, such as meat or fish may be used, at least one substance supplying trace elements, preferably a mixture of inorganic salts, at least one humectant, such as propylene glycol or sorbitol, at least one stabilising agent, such as a preservative, and at least one substance for enhancing acceptability and palatability, such as colouring and for example, parsley for flavour. The product is produced in the form of pellets resembling natural grains, and may be coated with a lipoid, sugar, or propylene glycol. The food may be combined with natural grains or seeds. |
