Steam heated boiler for food canning industry - has rectangular steam tubes welded next to each other along boiler base

The steam heated boiler for use in the canning industry has rectangular steam pipes (2) fitted next to each other along the length of the inner wall (1) of the boiler. Each pipe is formed by 'L' shaped stainless steel rails. These rails have one shank (4) with its end welded along the inner surface (1) of the boiler while the other shank (5) has its end welded along the angled edge of the next rail. This produces a series of parallel tubes which have no space between to attract dirt. The space (16) between the inner (1) and outer (15) walls of the boiler is filled with a heat insulating substance. The boiler produced in this way has an easily produced smooth inner surface which is easy to keep clean and has a large heating area due to the rectangular tube section.
