<p>The device for heating food in restaurant in a heat insulated housing has heated air circulated by a fan. At each side of the housing running at a distance from the wall, is a continuous transport band. The transport bands run on rollers and are provided with a number of horizontal rails on which trays carrying the goods to be heated can be slid. These trays are loaded into the device through an opening at the lower end of the housing and the heated goods removed through a similar opening at the housing top. The goods are heated by air which is drawn into the housing behind the transport band where it is heated by a heater element. The air is then drawn between the trays of goods to the fan.</p> |
