<p>The drive method is for feeding a d.c. consumer or load, particularly an induction motor, from a direct voltage (d.v.) source typically a battery, via a d.c. regulating unit. A controlled d.c. control element is arranged in each line between the d.v. source poles and the load terminals and each series connected circuit comprising the d.v. source and d.c. control element is connected in parallel with an uncontrolled free-running diode. The current-conducting or current-blocking modes of the d.c. control elements are staggered in time relative to one another.</p> |
