PURPOSE:To obtain the title recording medium generating no lowering of transfer density even when printing is performed many times and also excellent in gradation expression by providing arm ink layer wherein tonerlike particles having a sublimable dye encapsulated therein are dispersed in an org. binder on a base material. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer wherein tonerlike particles having a sublimable dye encapsulated therein are dispersed in an org. binder is provided on a base material. The sublimable dye is selected from ones sublimed or evaporated at 60 deg.C or higher and the mixing ratio of the dye and the binder is set so that the concn. of the dye is 10-80%, pref., about 30-80%. The above-mentioned ink layer is obtained by coating a film support with a liquid dispersed in and mixed with the solvent sufficiently dissolving the org. binder dispersing said tonerlike particles or emulsified water and drying the formed coating layer. The mixing ratio of the tonerlike particles with the binder is 10-80%, pref., about 30-70%. The thickness of the ink layer is pref. about 3-8mum. |
