<p>The mobile crane has a superstructure coupled to a chassis by a slewing gear ring. On the side of the superstructure furthest from the jib foot is a boom, divided into a section remaining permanently on the superstructure and a removable section containing parts necessary for the operation of the crane. Between the two sections (3, 4) is an intermediate piece (14) detachable from both. The two connections between it and them can be identical, with the join face parallel to each other and inclined downwards and away from the superstructure. The intermediate piece can hold one or more additional winches and a derricking gantry (15).</p> |
