Plastic barrel with cover - formed from two profiled halves of flange elements welded together for ease of manufacture

Plastic barrel closable by a plastic cover has an edge directed outwards adjoining the lower tensioning cuff. The upper horizontal ring surface forms the base surface for the sealing ring held by the plastic cover. Behind the ring surface, a second flat cuff, inclined inwards is fitted. The barrel edge is pressed together after the extrusion process, in the horizontally divided extrusion, from within the edge centre area by pushing together the profiled halves in an axial direction of the barrel to a closed flange (4). The opposite edge inner surfaces are welded together.
