<p>A housing fixed on a vertical shaft and having perforated walls, annular partitions which are fixed inside to the perforated walls, together with a feeder having a coaxial delivery pipe, forms part of an assembly for producing granules from a melt. The feeder comprises a chamber varying in dimensions axially. In this a coaxial distributor pipe has in its topmost zone, inlet channels, whilst its bottom end is positioned close to the end plane of one of the annular partitions. A valve is provided between the feeder chamber and the distributor pipe which can be adjusted vertically. Used for mfr. of fertiliser granules comprising ammonium nitrate and carbamide. The plant can also be used for pharmaceuticals and produces granules of uniform size.</p> |
