Dyes have formula, in the free acid form: (where K is a coupling residue, pref. of the benzene, naphthalene, pyrazolone, pyridone, pyrimidone, acetoacetic arylide or aminopyrazole series; A is a non-ionogenic substit; X is -W-NR-B-Q; W is a direct bond or bridging gp; R is H or 1-4C alkyl; B is a direct bond or bridging gp. esp. -CO- or -SO2-, linked to a C atom of Q; Q is a reactive gp; m is 0-2; n is 0-2; p = 0 or 1; q = 0-2; r = 0 or 1). Prepn. is e.g. by diazotising (I; -N=N-K-Kp replaced -NH2) and coupling with H-K-Xp.
