The cutter of the mower consists of double-edged blades (1) with two cutting edges. The blades are spaced equidistantly apart on a V-belt (2) which is driven by a motor for example by oil and which rotates evenly at high speed. The cutting direction can be reversed to opposite directions. On the other end, the V-belt runs over a guide roller. The cutter is pref. easily detachable from the end of an arm which is worked by a leverage and adjustment system from the vehicle. The cutters (1) are fixed to the V-belt by means of fixtures, such as an angle-piece (7) with screws (8) and rivets (9).
