Device fo pulling out threads interconnecting knitted articles which are discharged from a finishing machine onto a conveyor includes a number of holders extending for some distance in the article feed direction and spaced transversely of the feed direction and a thread winding device disposed at the level of the holders. Threads interconnecting articles during finishing are pulled out at the same time as the articles are discharged from the finishing machine, whereby a separate operating step is dispensed with.
