<p>The ballast circuit, for fluorescent tubes, has flat contact tags to make connections and an enamel coating for protection. Each flat contact tag (12) has a knob (22) on one of its surfaces to electrically connect a contact in the plug connector that fits over the contact tag. This knob is free of enamel and may have various specified cross-sectional shapes (e.g. rounded, pointed, stepped) and various specified shapes when viewed from above (e.g. V-shaped, W-shaped etc).</p> |
