<p>The switch has two contacts on one side of the casing. When this is free from acceleration, contacts close a circuit. One contact is supported on a leaf spring with a weight exposed to the acceleration. Acceleration makes the weight operate the contact support so that the circuit is broken. The other contact support (3) is also a leaf spring, and both contact support (2, 3) are held by contacts (5, 6) at a distance from a stop (10) mounted on the casing. The contact support (2) carrying the weight is pretensioned by a spring on the casing, so that it rests on a second stop (7) on the casing. The stops may be adjusted by screws.</p> |
