Symbol for house number or name - has fixing pins in recess in back surface allowing alignment flexibility

Embossed symbol, such as a figure or a letter, is intended to be used to form a house number or name or similar means of identification. The fixing pin at the back of the symbol emanates from a recess in the surface. The component (1) will form an integral part with the fixing pins (2, 3). There is an annular space surrounding the fixing pin which will allow deformation so that the symbols can be adjusted to the proper alignment. The symbol can be made from a flexible material such as aluminium or an alloy of aluminium which is injection moulded. The pins will taper from the base outwards. It will be possible to make adjustments to the distance between the individual symbols.
