<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous detection due to dust, dirt, etc., by reading a bar- code reciprocally and by changing the read position between the going path and the returning path. CONSTITUTION:Bar-code reading sensor 1 is fixed to the tip of arm 4 fixed to carriage 6. Carriage 6 is fitted to spiral groove 5' worked on driving shaft 5 and is reciprocated in the direction of the arrow by rotation of shaft 5. Cam 13 consisting of two semicircles different in radius are fixed to gear 12 which gears with gear 5 fitted to one end of shaft 5, and fixed, roller 15 is press-fixed to this cam 13 by spring 14. As a result, the moving path of gear 12 is different between the going path and the returning path in the direction rectangular to the moving direction of sensor 14 in accrdance with rotation of shaft 5, and erroneous read of the bar-code due to dust and dirt is prevented.</p> |
