摘要 |
PURPOSE:To ensure a selective detection of the carbon monoxide gas and at the same time increase the output voltage to secure a stable amplification, by sticking a sintered catalyst support loaded with rhodium-copper catalyst at the prescribed area of a platinum wire. CONSTITUTION:The sintered catalyst support 41 loaded with rhodium-copper catalyst composed of the rhodium-copper alloy is provided to cover the coil-shaped area of the coiled platinum wire 11. Thus a desired carbon monoxide gas detecting element 40 is obtained. As a result, only the carbon monoxide can be fractionated at a higher element temperature and the output voltage can be extracted in comparison with the conventional sintered catalyst support loaded with rhodium catalyst that contains no copper. Accordingly a higher voltage of application is secured with an input voltage set 1V or higher to be applied to an amplifier. Thus a stable amplification is made possible. This can eliminate the conventional amplifier requiring a special design, and the constitution of a detector for carbon monoxide gas is simplified. |
