1509680 Calcium phosphate DANSK LANDBRUGS GROVVARESELSKAB AXELBORG 24 Sept 1976 [10 Oct 1975] 39799/76 Heading C1A A powdered or granulated non-dusting mineral composition containing calcium phosphate suitable for use as animal fodder is made by reacting aqueous phosphoric acid of a concentration of at least 40% weight P 2 O 5 with a finely divided calcium carbonate having a water content of 15-25% by weight. The calcium carbonate is typically a ground chalk having a water content of 15-20% by weight and the phosphoric acid is commercial acid with a concentration of 50-55% weight P 2 O 5 . The reaction mixture is preferably dried. Mineral additives and/or vitamins may be added to the composition before or after the drying step. |
