A linear electromagnetic motor comprises a tubular casing (1) on which is fixed a stator (2) with annular magnetic poles (3). Exciting windings (4) are placed between the poles (3) which are oriented with their shoes (9) to an armature (5). The armature (5) is mounted moveably in the longitudinal direction and is shaped as a cylindric rod (7) with teeth (8) evenly spaced along its length. The stator (2) is divided with non-magnetic parts (10) into at least three sections (111, 112, 113) each of them having three annular magnetic poles (31, 32, 33) comprised in the magnetic circuit. The exciting windings (4) are located in the windows of the magnetic circuit and are connected in such a way that their magnetic fluxes are directed concordantly in the middle pole (32) the pole pitch r of each section (11) being equal to the pitch tz of the teeth (8) of the armature (5). The width of the teeth (8) of the armature (5) is equal to the width of the pole shoes (9) whereas the pole shoes (9) of each section (11) are shifted in relation to the teeth (8) of the armature (5) in the longitudinal direction by the value equal to $(4,)$ where N is the number of section (11) following the order of their connection and m is the number of the sections. The linear electromagnetic motor can be most effectively used in the electric drives of robots and manipulators working in the linear coordinate system.
|
