<p>Silver halide photographic material contains in >=1 layer, basic mordants of formula:- where n is >11 A is CH2, CO, SO2, NHCO or NHCS R1 is H alkyl. R2R3 are each alkyl or together form aring, pref. piperdine or morpholine. material pref. contains acid substd. dyes of the oxonol, meracyanino, dialkylamino benzol or azo type. Improved resistance to diffusion of acid dyes results and no harmful effect on coating properties is shown.</p> |
