<p>Cephalosporins of formula (I) are new together with their salts and esters (where A is pyridyl opt. substd. by Cl or Br, phenyl or phenylalkyl in which the phenyl gps. are opt. substd. by alkyl, alkoxy, halo, CF3, NO2, or oh; R is H, acetoxy, carbamoxyloxy, pyridinium or heterocyclylthio). (I) are broad-spectrum antibacterial agents for use as disinfectants and as animal feed supplements as well as their primary use in treating infections.</p> |
