Load sensitive pneumatic brake - with spring-loaded control piston to alter pressure level in output duct and vent excess pressure

The pneumatic brake line to the rear brakes is fitted with a pressure control valve linked to the rear brakes is fitted with a pressure control valve linked to the rear axle by a spring. The spring operates on a spring loaded piston which controls the setting of the pressure control valve at the top of the housing. The valve modulates the pneumatic pressure w.r.t. the piston displacement to provide a load sensitive output pressure. As the dynamic loading of the rear axle alters then the brake pressure is adjusted. The control piston also contains brake venting lines so that excess brake pressure is easily vented.
