Dobby loom shaft action - having pairs of lifters and blades for each shaft to give a series action

The system to operate the shafts of a dobby loom, in order to develop the required shed for weft insertion, has >=3 pairs of lifters for each shaft, together with blades so that each blade is operated with the lifters with each rotation of the loom crank in a defined series to develop the shed with the selected lifter. The construction allows a higher loom operating speed with a positive link between the blades and the lifters and a clean manipulation of the shafts in developing the varied sheds according to pattern requirements.
