Tilting door lever actuating mechanism - has spring loaded lever and rope actuator between door and ceiling

The mechanism for actuating rotating lock elements is used for tilting doors which have two side hinge pins guided along guide profiles on two vertical posts. Counterweights and side lever systems are eliminated for saving space and ensuring full covering of the door opening. The actuating mechanism is arranged into a space between the door and ceiling. Two horizontal beams are held on the middle part of the upper transverse member (4). Two gear wheels (8) or pulleys rotate on the beams and they have radial arms (9) moving in the horizontal plane. Two ropes (10) connect the side pins with the ends of the levers (9). The ropes pass over the pulleys (5) and two springs (15) on longitudinal anchors (14) actuate the chain (11) or rope (10).
