<p>The pulley arrangement for the cable of a ski lift, has two pulleys (5, 6) mounted on the inside of an inverted V shaped bracket which has a collar (9) at the tip for fixing to a pylon. The axes of the two pulleys are therefore at right angles and their tips meet at the top, forming a chamber in the corner of the housing to house the cable (20). Each pulley has a groove (16) around it, forming a semi-circular seating for the cable, and the groove is located in a hard metal ring (23, 24) on each pulley. Each suspension member of the ski lift is secured by an attachment (21) with a vertical plate (22) attached, which passes through a gap between the pulleys, the tips of the pulleys being chambered accordingly. These attachments pass over resilient rings (10, 11).</p> |
