<p>The bottle cap which is child-proof is secured by a bayonet coupling to a vessel of elastic material, having to be thrust axially against spring action before it can be turned to release it. The portion of the bottle neck (12) covered by the cap (14) is in the form of a spring acting in the axial direction. There can be one or more peripheral grooves (20) formed in this portion of the neck. The bayonet coupling can be formed by a series of lugs (26) extending radially outwards from the neck, and engaging in grooves (22, 24) formed inside the cap. Shoulders (24) can be provided in the grooves, to lock the lugs in the shut position.</p> |
