<p>A method of displaying digital values as points of a curve on the screen of a display using a raster scanning process is designed to produced improved visibility of the curve. The screen of a t.v. tube is scanned by an electron beam which is synchronised with two counters, one indicating the line being scanned and the other the position of the beam in that line. When the counter conditions agree with the coordinates of a digital value the brightness of the beam is increased to produce a visible point. To increase visibility of curve points, several neighbouring raster points are illuminated per curve point. Neighbouring curve points may share a common raster point.</p> |
