<p>The main frame (1) is in three sections (11, 12, 13) each outer being hinged to the inner and supported on wheels (3). Each section carries a spray bar (6), equipped with nozzles (7) and connected to a reservoir on the tractor (5). Each spray bar is suspended from hangers (101, 102) at each end. Suspension is by cable (9), wound on a drum connected to a motor (8). Operating this provides angular displacement for the bar. In addition to this movement, provision is made by means of slides and power cylinders for each head to be moved laterally and perpendicularly. Operating controls are provided accessible to the driver when working.</p> |
