<p>A single card board blank which is provided with fold lines is used to produce a box that has a hinged lid. During the first step of assembly, the front wall panel of the lid is glued to the front wall panel of the box. This produces a tubular box sleeve which is held together by the perforated line. At this stage, the box is filled with its content and then completed by folding the side wall panels of box and lid. The side panels have extended fixing lugs to which the glue is applied. When the box is being opened, the lid is separated from the box by breaking the perforation along the front wall of the box.</p> |
