<p>The cine film viewer has an equalisation of running system driven by the film itself as it passes through. An adjuster produces additional play between the gear wheels of a transmission so that the film can be displaced by at least one frame when the equalisation system is in its rest position. This helps in locating the desired, e.g. splicing, position. The film (1) can be moved forwards or backwards between the spools (2, 3) by turning handles (2a, 3a). The light from the source (16) passes through the film (1) frame (8), prism (15) and the observation lens (17).</p> |
