Pump for metering dyestuffs is connectible to the compounding unit of an injection-moulding machine. It features a plastics cylinder which is integral with connection fittings for inlet and outlet valves and may be detached from the pump drive. The plastics piston in this cylinder can be coupled to the drive shaft. The appts. is used in bulk dyeing of thermoplastic granular moulding cpd. The metering pump is of simple and relatively inexpensive construction. It is easily exchanged when it is desired to change the dyestuff.
