Guide rail for linear drive with magnetic steering - with low resistance material slotted for linear induction with low loss

The single guide and drive rail for linear propulsion with magnetic guidance, has a flat bed (2) upright rail (3) made from low resistance material. The lower part of the upright is used for magnetic guidance while the upper part is slotted (5) to reduce losses for linear drive. The rail is made from one material and requires no complex structure. The two separate regions can have a narrow overlapping region (6)with the linear drive coils (4) and the guidance magnets (1) offset. The common region reduces the height of the rail without decreasing the effect.
