PURPOSE:To aim at making a device as a whole compact, by forming the rotary shaft of a reversible motor in a cylindrical shape so that a travelling cloth is passed through the cylindrical hole of the rotary shaft, and as well by providing, in the end part of the rotary shaft, a clamping member for pressng and clamping the travelling cloth, movably. CONSTITUTION:A travelling cloth C is inserted into a cloth passage 6 in a motor rotary shaft 2 from, for example, the lower side, and is pulled out upward through a through-hole 7 in a frame 5, an inserting through-hole 15 in the center part of a cloth clamping member 9 consisting of two pairs of clamp rollers 10a, 10b and a through-hole 17 in a cover 16. A twist in the cloth C is detected by a detector (not shown) during the travelling of the cloth, and therefore, the rotary shaft 2 is rotated clockwise by a motor including an armature 3 if the twist is, as for example, clockwise, for rotating the clamping member 9 on the frame 5 integrally incorporated with the rotary shaft 2, in the same direction. With this arrangement, the clockwise twist in the cloth C is promptly eliminated. |
