<p>The fire fighting device for inaccessible spaces uses plastic containers filled with a suitable extinguishing agent which becomes active when the walls of the container have been destroyed. The containers are designed as missiles which can be fired from a remote position into the fire affected area. The missiles can be designed as non-guided or guided rockets or as grenades fired from a various types of weapons or hurled by hand. The missiles have containers which are resilient enough to penetrate weak obstacles, such as window panes.</p>
