PURPOSE:To obtain a sliding contact material of superior wear resistance by adding specified amounts of In and one or more among Te, Ti, Li and Mg to a Pd-Ag alloy having a specified composition without changing the proportion in the composition. CONSTITUTION:A sliding contact material is obtd. by adding 1-10wt% In and 0.1-3wt% one or more among Te, Ti, Li and Mg to a Pd-Ag alloy material consisting of 30-70wt% Pd and 30-70wt% Ag without changing the proportion in the composition. An Fe group metal such as Ni may be substituted for 0.01- 0.5wt% of the In. |
