PURPOSE:To reduce cost without using oil pressure with a simple construction by constructing a die clamping device in such a way that a lever is rotated to tilt a clamping piece and to press a die. CONSTITUTION:When a lever is fitted into the attaching hole of a cam shaft material 6 and is rotated counterclockwise, a projecting part inserted into the long hole 8f of a clamping piece 8 turns to advance inward the piece 8. The projecting part 8c at the inside end projects from the opening at the inside end of a case 4 and is positioned at the retaining top surface of a die 3. When a push bar rotates by a prescribed angle, the plane of a cam part 6a contacts with the bottom surface on the outside of the groove in the projecting part of the piece 8. The piece 8 is pushed upward and is tilted counterclockwise around a bolt 9, by which the projecting part 8c on the inside is descended then a retainer 8d presses the top surface of the die 3 thereby fixing the die to a surface plate 9. The peak of the cam part 6 contacts with the piece 8 and the piece 8 is stopped and held in the state of lifting the same as far as the piece can be lifted. |
