PURPOSE:In a pipe inner face grinder, to eliminate the grinding noise by grinding a pipe through a grinding wheel while supporting such that the face to be grinded is submerged thereby preventing dispersion of powder and collecting. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of turning rollers 5 are provided as means for supporting a pipe 1 in a tank 10 filled with water 4, while furthermore a thrust roller 11 is provided in the tank 10. Said tank 10 is provided on an inclind face. A truck 7 is provided with a grinding wheel drive motor 8 and a shaft 9 where a grinding wheel 2 is fixed at the leading edge of the shaft 9. Said truck 7 is connected through a wire 12 to a winch at the rear end to be moved back and fro along the inclination. Since the inner face of the pipe 1 is ground by the grinding wheel 2 in the water 4, grinding powder will never be dispersed but will sink as sludge which is collected and carried by a conveyor. |
