derivs. (I) and their salts: (where R, R1=H or 1-4C alkyl and R2=1-9C, opt. branched hydrocarbyl which maybe substd. by a cycloalkyl group) are coronary vasodilators, anti-angina and spasmolytics which may be administered orally, rectally or parenterally e.g. orally in daily doses of 120-3000mg. as unit doses of 20-500mg.
