<p>A door locking device comprises a control knob, a door securing mechanism which controls an electric current flowing to an electromagnet acting on a ratchet switch. The switch moves into a cam via a spindle to block two jaws between which a lug integral with the door is trapped. Current flows to the electromagnet when the knob is in the locking position when the door is closed and when a thermostat contact is closed for a temp. 300 deg.C. The oven is heated when the control knob is turned afterwards to a cleaning position via switch contacts (9) in series in the heating supply.</p> |
