<p>1489754 Disazo dyes IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 23 Sept 1975 [14 Oct 1974] 44406/74 Heading C4P Novel water-soluble disazo dyes having the formula where A is the residue of a diazo component of the benzene series; M is an optionally substituted 1,4-arylene radical; each of T and Z independently is alkyl or optionally substituted aralkyl, provided at least one of T and Z contains more than 4 C atoms are disclosed. The dyes are prepared by diazotizing an amine A-NH 2 , coupling with an amine H-M-NH 2 , then diazotizing the resulting aminoazo compound and coupling with the appropriate hydroxypryidone compound. The dyes are used for colouring natural and synthetic polyamide textile materials in yellow to bluish-red shades.</p> |
