<p>The pan grinder has motor driven shaft with drive and coupling (21) underneath the pan (1). The shaft is fitted with lower hub (3) and upper hub (2). The lower hub has arms (25, 251) on which the edge runners (5, 51) can swing. The distance of the runners from the shaft centre is unequal. The hubs (4, 41) of the runners are fitted with axial extensions (24, 241) into which the ends (9, 91) of piston rods (8, 81) are hinged. Cylinders (7, 71) containing the piston rods are pneumatically operated and control the pressures of the edge runners onto the crushed material. The pressure on the runner is controlled by the location of the piston rod seatings (10, 101) out of line with the runner suspension points (25, 251).</p> |
