<p>1-Phenoxy-3-aminopropan-2-ols of formula (I) and (II), their hydrates and acid-addition salts: (where in (I) R is 3-11C cycloalkyl, 1-indanyl, 1-adamantyl or exo-2-norbornyl; A is vinylene or 1-3C alkylene; Y is NH2, CN, alkoxycarbonyl, OH, carbamoyl, N-Cyclohexyl-methylcarbamoyl, N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl, morpholinyl, a group of formula R is cyclohexylmethyl and Y is carbamoyl; or R is -CHMe2 and Y is cyclohexylcarbamoyl or cyclohexylmethylcarbamoyl) are used in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias they have little beta-blocking action.</p> |
