<p>PURPOSE:To improve a function without increasing a function key by performing eject of a cassette when the eject operation is performed in the fast forward mode of a tape and performing eject when it comes to the end of the tape. CONSTITUTION:Since the absolute time on a tape has been detected by a signal processing part 4 in the play mode at the time of an ejection key 15 operation, fast winding of the tape in forward or traverse direction is performed with a mechanical driving part 3 according to the remaining tape quantity. A control circuit 5 monitors again as to whether or not the ejection key 15 is operated in the fast forward mode and in the case of the ejection key 15 being operated, a cassette is ejected with the ejecting motion of the mechanical driving part 3 at that time thereof. In the case of the ejection key 15 being not operated, the cassette is ejected with the ejecting motion of the mechanical driving part 3 on detection of the tape coming to the end. The function can thus be improved without increasing the function key.</p> |
