<p>The brake pressure modulation valve for the rear hydraulic brakes has a load monitoring lever (32) which operateson the pressure control piston in a mechanical manner. In order to provide a compact layout, with minimal movement of the lever, the valve is servo assisted using the inlet manifold vacuum. This operates on a roll membrane which is coupled to the load sensing lever by a spring. A large control pressure is thus exerted on the control piston for an accurate control.</p> |
