The crossing-over of skis is prevented by a rejection member which is brought from a position in which it is lowered to the surface of the ski into an upright, locking position. In this position, it then serves to prevent one ski of a pair passing over the other ski, as a result of which the skier would fall. The rejection member (6) is provided to be pivotable on a base member (9) which is provided on the ski (1), a spring (3) being arranged between the base member and the rejection member and bringing the rejection member automatically, in the unlocked state, into the upright functioning position. From this it can be returned again by hand into the lowered position. <IMAGE>
