METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SELECTIVE CONTROL OF MULTI-WINDOW

PURPOSE:To select and display a desired window by canceling the display performed by a front window switch part via a superposition display part and displaying the window designated by a front window designating part at the forefront part. CONSTITUTION:A window switch request part 101 requests for switch of the context between windows. A superposition display part 102 displays with superposition the contents of all windows included in an overlapping area of windows. When the operator designates a point in an area which specifies a window desired by the operator and to be displayed at the forefront part, a front window designating part 103 specifies a window to be displayed at the forefront part based on the designated point and gives a request to a front window switching part 104 to switch the front window. Thus the part 104 cancels the display carried out by the part 102 and changes the context of the windows so as to display the window designated by the part 103 at the forefront part.
