An bubble level is used to adjust and set the level of an object.The bubble glass is fitted in the level so as to obtain no free play.The glass is not affected by shock or temperature. The level has a recess (2) into which is fitted the bubble glass block (11). The glass block (11) is located in a support (4).The support (4) is fitted to the frame (1) of the level by adjusting screws (5). The support has recesses (8, 10, 16) and there are spaced (7, 9) between the support (4) and the frame (1). These recesses (8, 10, 16) and space (7, 9) are filled with adhesive material. Stoppers are forced into the cylindrical recesses (16) to press the adhesive into recesses (8, 10) and spaces (7, 9) around the glass block (11)
